Danitza (Dana) Leiva (she/her) is a registered physiotherapist who’s been practising since 2015 after graduating from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile.
Since her university days, Dana has had a great interest in neurology, neuro development, paediatrics, women’s health and education. During her first years of practice in Chile she worked as an anatomy and paediatrics instructor as well as independent worker in her own practice where she focused on treating pregnant patients as well as helping their babies with their motor development and hitting their milestones. Now in Canada she continues her education in pelvic health, paediatrics, chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions. When it comes to treating patients, she believes in finding the perfect balance between evidence based treatment and the patient’s needs and input.
In her spare time, Danitza loves walking with her little chihuahua, reading, travelling and going to concerts.
