Fabiana Rodrigues
Birth & Postpartum Doula, Lactation Counselor, Founder of Alongside Doula Care
Fabiana Rodrigues is a Vancouver-based Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, Lactation Counselor, and Educator. Originally from Brazil and a mother of three, her own intense postpartum journey – with three kids under three and a half – along with the reality that many new parents today lack the “village” of support once available, inspired her to dedicate her work to supporting families through pregnancy and the early months of parenthood with confidence and calm.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, along with multiple childbirth and postpartum-related certifications, Fabiana combines evidence-based knowledge with warmth, empathy, and hands-on support. As the founder of Alongside Doula Care, she has supported more than 350 families in person and virtually over the past decade, with a special focus on immigrant, multicultural, and families without an extended support network navigating pregnancy and early parenthood away from home.
Through personalized consultations, breastfeeding support, workshops, and community education, she bridges the gap between information and everyday life with a newborn—helping parents feel more prepared, supported, and confident as they find their own way into parenthood.
