Time: 10:30am & 1:15pm
Location: CST SEminar Stage
Synopsis:
Parenting is full of tough decisions, but one choice stands out as a clear win: saving for your child’s education. Research shows that post-secondary education—whether in trades, college, or university—leads to better job prospects, higher earnings, and greater resilience in a changing world. Research also makes clear that student debt can limit opportunities. In this talk, Dr. Nathaniel Barr explains why investing in your child’s education early makes a big difference, how small contributions add up over time, and how to overcome psychological barriers like procrastination to set your child up for future success.
