Sherry Holmes
Contractor, TV Host
Sherry Holmes is a contractor and TV host, following in the footsteps of her father, celebrity contractor Mike Holmes—so it’s fair to say construction is in her blood. She began her career working behind the scenes on the breakout series Holmes on Homes® and quickly became a permanent member of the Holmes crew.
Today, as a working mother of two young girls, Sherry’s commitment to the skilled trades extends well beyond the job site. She is a strong advocate for youth and young women entering the trades, using her social media platforms and supporting organizations such as Skills Canada and WorldSkills. She also mentors through programs like Jill of All Trades at Conestoga College, helping inspire the next generation to explore careers in skilled trades.
Sherry is also an official ambassador and spokesperson for the Meagan Bebenek Foundation, where she is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pediatric brain tumour research and supporting families affected by these devastating diagnoses.
You can watch Sherry alongside her brother Michael Holmes Jr. and her father, Mike Holmes, on Holmes on Homes: Building a Legacy on Cottage Life. Viewers can also stream classic Holmes series for free on the Homeful app—available on Smart TVs. Visit homefultv.com for more details.
Presentation:
How to Create a Safer, Healthier Home for Your Growing Family
Join TV’s favorite sibling duo, Michael Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes (Homes on Holmes: Building a Legacy), as they discuss all things construction and home renovation —with a special focus on creating safer, healthier homes for growing families. While most people think babyproofing starts and ends with corner protectors and outlet covers, Michael Jr. and Sherry go deeper—breaking down the importance of indoor air quality, low- and no-VOC materials, proper ventilation, moisture control, and smart building practices that protect your home (and your baby) from the inside out.
