Shuran Jandu

Founder of Mind Body Collective

Shuran brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to her work as a Registered Massage Therapist, Athletic Therapist, Performance Stretch Therapist, Personal Trainer and Kinesiologist.

She is also the founder of Mind Body Collective, a multidisciplinary wellness studio with an intentional all-female team, located in the heart of Toronto’s CityPlace.

Shuran had always dreamed of building a Women’s Health Clinic, but it was her own pregnancy in 2024 that turned that dream into a mission. As she navigated her own unsteady journey through pregnancy, she leaned on her wellness studio and transformed it into a hub for female wellness. Though she specialized in pre and postnatal care, she found herself unprepared for the realities of the experience, and it was the knowledge and support of her own team that carried her through. That experience deepened her commitment: she has since partnered with many of the caregivers she met and befriended along the way, building a larger, stronger and more supportive team for the women who walk through her doors. Shuran has also continued to expand her own expertise, with a focus on postnatal care specific to C-section recovery.

At the heart of Shuran’s practice is a simple belief: physical wellness and mental health are deeply connected, and true care means treating both.

Nurturing the Nurturer: Mama First

Caring for Your Body, Mind, and Spirit Through Bump to Baby and Beyond

Becoming a mother changes everything — your body, your identity, your relationships, your sense of time. Yet so much of the conversation around pregnancy and early parenthood centers on the baby, leaving many moms-to-be and new mothers unsure where their own needs fit in.

This panel brings together a team of health care professionals to shift that focus back to mom. Together, they’ll explore what it truly means to care for yourself — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually — through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum months that follow.  When mom is cared for, she’s better able to care for her family.

Parenting doesn’t start with the baby’s first breath — it starts with taking care of mama first.
